The Quickest Way to the Quran Lesson:3.1 Quranic Verb Conjugation
In lesson 3, we have known about the unique verb roots of the Quran. Only learning the roots will not help understand easily. For this reason, I have set a conjugation table so that you can learn the meanings of different forms.
Tag: V-p = Past Verb, V-pr-fu = Present-Future Verb, Imp = Imperative, Prohi = Prohibition, ACT-PCPL = Active Participle, N-plu = Plural Noun. VN = Verbal Noun
Qaaf-Waaw-Lam as verb roots occur 1620 times in the Quran, But as word roots occur 1722 times.
Note that only one form of the past is given. You have to deduce other forms like قَالاَ -قَالَت - قَالَتَا - قَالُوا etc
The same is applicable for Present-Future Verb
Note that the word قَائِلٌ occurs 4 places in Quran يوسف/10 الكهف/19 الصافات/51
* قَائِلُهَا:- المؤمنون/100
Do not Confuse this word with that of * قَائِلُونَ:- الأعراف/4 it is derived from a different root Qaaf-Yaa-Laam which means sleeper at noon.
Also note that the word قِيلاً though similar to past pssive, it is actually an indefinite noun that occurs 3 times in the Quran, for example النساء/122 الواقعة/26 المزمل/6
(35) يَقُولُوا (11) يَقُولُونَ (51) يُقَالُ (3)
عدد الكلمات المختلفة = 120

كُونِي

Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."

Interesting: One interesting point regarding this verb is that when the emphatic past negative Lam لَمْ precedes it, it almost loses its existence except the initial Kaaf. Look at these examples

She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئًا ﴿مريم: ٩﴾
